Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Ancurio application ("App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Ancurio, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your Apple devices for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

3. User Content

You retain full ownership of all flashcard content you create within the App. By using the App, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to use any content you add (including imported text and images).
  • Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Your content does not violate any applicable laws.

We do not claim ownership of your content.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Ancurio offers optional auto-renewable subscription plans that unlock premium features.

  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. Charges are applied to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time via your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
  • Free Trial: If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled.

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks connected to the App.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App without written permission.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding within Ancurio (excluding user-created content) are the intellectual property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
  • Study results will meet your specific learning goals.
  • All App features will be available at all times.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of study progress, or interruption of service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the App or the App Store page. Continued use after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law principles.
